Glasgow Asbestos-Wrapped Chimney Removal

When we state that the professionals at Asbestos Project Removal are capable of removing asbestos from residential and commercial
properties, we mean it.

As an example, we recently removed asbestos from the area surrounding a chimney pipe in a Glasgow residence, and we can attest that
it was quite a squeeze. As you can see from the attached photographs, the pipe stretched all the way up through the attic space of the
home, and our team had to do our asbestos removal work in some rather challenging conditions.

Our Asbestos Abatement Procedure

Our approach begins by enclosing the area where asbestos is being removed from the rest of the home using 6mm thick plastic sheeting.
Next, we shut down the home’s heating and cooling systems to prevent asbestos contamination from spreading throughout the house.

Following that, our crew installed a HEPA exhaust system, which generates negative pressure within the work area. This exhaust system
was then vented to the outdoors via a tightly sealed attic aperture.

Then, despite the summer heat in the attic, our team dressed in protective gear and began gently removing the asbestos wrapping around
the chimney. We wrapped and sealed all asbestos products in double 6mm plastic bags.

As is customary, the bags were subsequently sealed in fibre drums for proper disposal in accordance with municipal, state, and federal

After HEPA vacuuming and wet wiping with modified water, the entire chimney pipe was cleaned. Our final stage involved clearance air
sampling, which was performed by an I.D.P.H.-licensed air sampling specialist and analysed by an independent laboratory.
